How Many Bells
Methods
In the previous game, you had to identify the number of bells ringing call changes. In the ‘How Many Bells? Methods’ the game, you move up to the highest level and need to decide how many bells are ringing a method.
Each clip is about 30 seconds long and includes at least 12 changes… If you need to listen longer… you can always play it again!
Remember, most odd bell methods will include a cover. So 6 bells with a cover will be doubles, and without a cover, will be minor. At the bottom end, it is a little bit more complex… because Doubles could also be rung on 5 bells without a cover and minimus on 5 bells with a cover!
Key:
- Minimus – 4 bells
- Doubles – 5 Bells
- Minor – 6 Bells
- Triples – 7 Bells
- Major – 8 Bells
- Caters – 9 Bells
- Royal – 10 Bells
